A preemployment chest x-ray was performed on a 26-year-old asymptomatic black man with no significant medical history. He denied any history of tobacco or alcohol consumption. Complete blood cell count and chemistries were unremarkable. Because of the chest x-ray findings (Figure 1), follow-up computed tomography (Figure 2) and magnetic resonance imaging (Figure 3) scans of the chest were performed.
